A summary of actions and information from the meetings of Pittsburgh Presbytery

Crestfield Camp & Conference Center

Opened with a service of worship with the Rev. Betty Angelini, Executive Director of Crestfield Camp & Conference Center giving the sermon entitled, Sacred Space, Sacred Being. The sacrament of the Lord’s Supper was administered and a litany for the saints shared in remembrance of teaching and ruling elders who have entered into the Church Triumphant in the last year. An offering of $1,293.00 was received for equal distribution to the Lazarus Fund and the Hunger Fund. This amount will be matched by the Pittsburgh Presbyterian Foundation.

The Greenfield Presbyterian Church to sell its building; approved.
The Friendship Community Presbyterian Church to encumber its property in the amount of $122,000 to refinance existing debt and create a line of credit for necessary renovations; approved.
The Korean United Presbyterian Church to encumber its property in the amount of $150,000 in order to pay for roof replacement and damage resulting from leaks in the roof; approved.

*That Crestfield Camp and Conference Center be incorporated as a non-profit organization, affiliated with Pittsburgh Presbytery through a covenant agreement, and governed by a Board of Directors.
