Anti-Racism Transformation Team

MISSION STATEMENT:
The ARTT, through prayer, study of scripture, and guidance of the Holy Spirit, will be an effective resource and catalyst to dismantle institutional racism in our presbytery.

The Anti-Racism Transformation Team of the Pittsburgh Presbytery is a team that envisions an anti-racist Presbytery that practices Christ’s teachings, creating and sustaining a culture of racial reconciliation and accountability to the communities the Presbytery serves.

For more information on the work of ARTT, please email either of the co-chairs, Becky Senior or the Rev. Aaron Teter.

EVENT:
Pastor Collaborative to Focus on Race, Reconciliation & Congregational Life

This pastor collaborative will be gathering over a six-month period and focus on addressing the issue of racism in the body of Christ and committed to bringing about racial reconciliation practices in the life and work of our congregations. It will be a practice-based collaborative shaped by those who gather, facilitated by local, Presbyterian pastors who have been engaged in this work, and hosted by the Anti-Racism Transformation Team of Pittsburgh Presbytery. To find out more, click here or to sign up, please email the Rev. Susan Rothenberg or the Rev. Aaron Teter.
