on Preparation for Ministry (CPM)
"Committees
on Preparation for Ministry provide the care and oversight of persons
preparing for the ordained Ministry of Word and Sacrament."

The Preparation for Ministry
forms are to be used by those Presbyterians who—
- are considering their
call to ordained Ministry of the Word and Sacrament, or
- have been recommended
by their home congregation and accepted by the presbytery as an Inquirer
for ministry of the Word and Sacrament, or
- have been accepted
by the presbytery as a Candidate for Ministry of the Word and Sacrament,
or
- serve on the Presbytery
Committee on Preparation for Ministry (CPM), or
- are presbytery staff
with responsibility for providing services to Committee on Preparation
for Ministry, or
- are pastors and elders
of congregations with Inquirers and Candidates in the Preparation for
Ministry process.
